Artist Statement:

In my artistic practice, I explore the realms of both pure abstraction and expressive imagery. My work revolves around the fundamental elements of color and texture, which serve as the primary vehicles of visual communication within my pieces.

I approach my creative process with an intuitive mindset, allowing my inner emotions, thoughts, and experiences to guide the brush strokes and mark-making on the canvas. This uninhibited approach enables me to delve into the depths of my subconscious, giving rise to artworks that are deeply personal and emotionally resonant.

At times, I find inspiration in specific imagery, which serves as a starting point for my artistic explorations. These initial visual cues act as catalysts, guiding the evolution of the artwork as it unfolds on the canvas. However, as the process progresses, I allow spontaneity and instinct to take the lead, ultimately transcending the original source of inspiration and creating a unique visual narrative.

Through my work, I aim to evoke an emotional response in the viewer, inviting them to interpret and connect with the artwork on a personal level. Each brushstroke and layer of texture is carefully constructed to elicit a sensory experience, inviting contemplation and introspection. By embracing the interplay of abstraction and expressionism, I seek to create a visual language that speaks directly to the viewer's emotions, memories, and innermost thoughts.

In essence, my artistic practice is a journey of self-discovery and expression. It is a constant exploration of the limitless possibilities that color, texture, and intuition offer. With each artwork, I strive to create a visual symphony that transcends the boundaries of the tangible world, inviting viewers to immerse themselves in a realm where emotions and imagination intertwine.
